Essential Skills 4 U
Are you unemployed and living in North Belfast?
The LAEP project contracted through Belfast Metropolitan College. Targeted at adults, aged 19 – 65, who are not in work, who do not hold a qualification at Level 2 or above, and who may have barriers to learning. The LAEP provides Essential Skills training in literacy and numeracy. Using small group learning the programme has enabled participants to acquire new and improved skills, and given them the opportunity to progress to jobs or to further education or vocational training both within the Ashton Community Trust and at other educational establishments.

help with your child’s homework, and improve your confidence.
